>>>The Book of Life is the book in which appears the name of every person who is born

I think we are all written then as, you said, and that we are all predestined to be saved.  We can have our name removed if we chose to.

Religion & Theology / Re: Pedophilia

Pedophilic thoughts or desires are demonic in origin.

I still think it is a choice, a choice that is taking one step at a time, needing more exciting every step of the way.

To blame the devil for our actions, in many cases, is not responsible at all. Sure he is behind that no doubt.

I have seen too many people walk that walk one step at a time, not all are pedophilla...  yet, but have warn down their built-in-warning a lot.

Of course, I do not think Calvinist would agree, with that free choice.

Religion & Theology / Justification by 'getting it right'
« on: January 09, 2016, 09:54:22 AM »
Justification by works isn't a problem, I have never really met anyone that believed that, many said they did 10 years, and will more than likely say that 10 years from now..

Justification by getting things right, you know pre-trib post trib etc etc  seems to be the trend.

When people talk about Wheat vs Tares, they tend to imply they are the Wheat...  just because they read the parable.

After taking with victims of this 'sickness' I thought, to me, the issue is not if convicted pedofiles should have prostatectomies and orchidectomies, the question is should they use anaesthetic or not.

That might just give them enough strength to stop this.

This is such a relevant question.  I have met preachers who constantly assure their members of their salvation, yet they are afraid to die.

Religion & Theology / Re: Pray without ceasing
« on: February 19, 2015, 05:59:14 PM »
When I was first seeking an understand of faith,  I came across this.  I had remember one Pastor who loved to pray, and it was his highlight of the Sunday Service.  He would say a sentence, wait 30 seconds while he thought about the next sentence.. speak that...  wait under 30 seconds...  how irritating for this preteen or what ever age I was..

I was sure someone should show him that 'pray with our ceasing :)

I do understand it rather different now.

Forgiveness is available until we get to eternity and then our eternal fate is sealed. Right now, people are free to sin and repent; but there is no forgiveness of sin for the damned in hell.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
