You can now place your phone number into a national registry that prohibits telephone soliciters from calling your house. Just visit:
Click Here[/list]Recently, telephone soliciters have begun calling my cell phone which aggravates me because I pay for each minute, to include incoming minutes from telephone soliciters.

Finally, a government law that will help us. :)

      Town Hall / Judgement Day
      « on: June 27, 2003, 09:02:25 PM »
At the Great White Throne Judgment, it will be a horrible day for all who must give an account. :(

At the Judgment Seat of Christ, we will be judged for our works, IMO.   :(
I'd rather go to the Judgment Seat of Christ. ;) :me::up:

As an afterthought, I noticed that the title of this thread is "Judgment Day."
      • On Judgment day, will we be judged for our theological understanding (or for our misunderstandings)?

      • Or will we be judged for the compassion that we had on others (or that we didn't have on others)?
The latter would seem to be more important on Judgment Day. :boing:

Whoa, what a tough question!!!  Where do you come up with these questions? < scratches head >

I had to do a double-take of the poll question. :me::up:

Based upon the scriptures, I'd say that compassion is more important than understanding all of the theological mysteries. :)

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.[/b] (1 Cor. 13:2)

If you are interested in pursuing distance learning (DL) from a regionally accredited (RA) school, then here is some good information:

        Snip...

Southern Christian University has some really good distance learning programs, Bachelors thru Doctoral level.  They are RA.

They have DMin's in Family Therapy that require a suitable Masters degree for admission (as opposed to an MDiv).  If I recall it is a 66 credit hour program.  Does require some short on campus sessions.

They are developing a PhD (Family Therapy or LPC track)program that should be available soon.  It uses computer technology so that it can be interactive.  If I read it correctly it appears to be totally non resident.

This is good for people who are in the middle of nowhere or who can't quit their full-time job to go back to college. ;)

In 1997, he bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear during a boxing match.

Tyson was convicted of rape and was sentenced to six years in prison.  In a Fox television interview last month, Tyson said he was so angry about the conviction that he wanted to rape his accuser and her mother.

The brawl broke out about 5:30 a.m. outside the hotel where Tyson was staying...

The tactics of pro life protesters are less than honorable.
            • 1. Posting the addresses of doctors who perform abortions.
            • 2. Posting pictures of the kids of doctors and where they go to school.
            • 3. encouraging the murder of abortion doctors.
            • 4. Threatening the lives of abortion doctors and their families.
            • 5. Killing people at abortion clinics in the name of God.
I am sorry but I have not heard of this kind of violence by pro choice people.
What justification should have been used by civilians to stop the Nazis from killing the Jews in the 1930s and 40s?  Do unborn children have less of a right to live than the WWII Jews did? Sadly, many people will say "yes."

How many children can this nation kill each year before the God of heaven unseats the great power of this country?  All blessings come from the Lord, to include children.  Yet we are killing His children like the Nazis were cremating living Jews in WWII.

I am against making it "legal" to kill unborn children.  Conversely, I am against making it "legal" to kill living Jews.  While this analogy may seem horrific to some, it has a lot of practicality to it.

To those who choose to kill: They have become so warped that they accept as legitimate their "right" to kill unborn children.  They will have to answer to God.  :(

Well, my heart goes out to the cop.  :(

Some day, we will trade in these mortal bodies for immortal bodies that are not subject to sin and decay.  :)

I see that you will provide links tonight.   Do you know who the cop is and where he lives? :boing:
