Obama's Church
« on: March 11, 2007, 05:53:06 PM »
I saw on Fox news that Obama went to a Muslim school, but CNN reported it was a typical public school.  I wonder if typical means praying to Allah 5 times a day, memorizing the Qu'ran and singing songs about killing Jews.   Well I hear he is a good Christian now.  I found the link to the church's webpage, I have looked it over quickly.  Looks like a racist church to me, and I failed to find anything about the Cross of Christ.   Here is the link see what you find.

I hesitate to call Sen. Obama's church a church.  Yes, they have the forms of Christian worship, but it is very afro-centric and left leaning.  Their theological seminary (Chicago Theological Seminary) pumps out dead men teaching other dead men the gospel according to satan's liberalism (imho).

They probably do many good works, but given their ultra liberal stance, I'm afraid they've sold out Christ for the sake of popularity.

David Duke is a White supremist who believes in the "White" church.  :nervous:  Please tell me what you think of his views.  Check out the following:   David Duke's philosophy:
   1.  Commitment to God
   2. Commitment to the White Community
   3. Commitment to the White Family
   4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
   5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
   6. Adherence to the White Work Ethic
   7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
   8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Lower classness"
   9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the White Community
  10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting White Institutions
  11. Pledge allegiance to all White leadership who espouse and embrace the White Value System
  12. Personal commitment to embracement of the White Value System.Actually, the above came from Sen. Obama's church.  I simply replaced the word "Black" with "White" to demonstrate that that their views are just as extreme as David Duke's views.

"So then, stand firm and hold to the traditions :o which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter" (2 Thessalonians 2:15).

While the United Church of Christ is generally a very liberal denomination, many local congregations are not.  I pastored a UCC church a number of year's ago and it was very conservative.  The congregation has since become independent.  Also, CTS isn't the only UCC seminary.  I know some UCC ministers who graduated from Eden and they are not liberals.

Religious Lie: "God only paid for sins until the next time you sin."
Forgiveness is available until we get to eternity and then our eternal fate is sealed. Right now, people are free to sin and repent; but there is no forgiveness of sin for the damned in hell.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
