Way of the Master
« on: March 23, 2007, 07:00:24 AM »
I'm thinking about ordering some training materials from Way of the Master:

http://www.wayofthemaster.com/

Has anyone had any experience with this program for personal evangelism?

It seems to me like the most biblical way to witness, and the one that Jesus used.  I'm looking to put together street evangelism teams for this summer, and am praying about how to teach them.....

Blessings!

I call the teaching, the way of Ray, not the way of the master.  I have tried their ideas and had little success.  I would go to http://www.evantell.org and try their teaching.  I have had a lot of success in "closing the deal" in witnessing.

I like that they actually tell people what they are going to be saved from, and why they need Jesus.

I watched a few of their videos, and it reminded me of some of my open air preaching/street evangelism experience (being threatened, spit upon, mocked, ect.)

I see too much soft pedaling the gospel- "Jesus will improve your life, make you healthy and wealthy, ect ect"

I'll look into it.....I'll probably end up teaching a variety of "methods"

Forgiveness is available until we get to eternity and then our eternal fate is sealed. Right now, people are free to sin and repent; but there is no forgiveness of sin for the damned in hell.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
