I would post the pictures from the recent gay celebration in San Fransicko but I don't want to make you sick.  Go to michaelsavage.com to see them if you must.  But mark my words God will get them for this you can bet the ranch on that.

Frankly, in my humble opinion, God has been punishing the USA, not just for the gay community in San Francisco, but also for the pressure our administrations have placed upon Israel to give up part of their captured land they won in war against their aggressor neighbors.  Such as 9/11 and Katrina, to mention a couple.

Blessings,

Quasar

God will punish a lukewarm church and complacent "Christians" long before He punishes those outside it.

Can't say as I agree with you at all bro John.  Considering such disasters as the tsunami in SE asia as a case and point.

Consider the Word my case in point-

2 Chron 7:13-8:1
13 "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. 16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
17 "As for you, if you walk before me as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws, 18 I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said, 'You shall never fail to have a man to rule over Israel.'
19 "But if you turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples. 21 And though this temple is now so imposing, all who pass by will be appalled and say, 'Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?' 22 People will answer, 'Because they have forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them-that is why he brought all this disaster on them.'"

Couple that with Rev 2-3.  Jesus didn't tell John to write a letter to Nero or any other world leader.  Jesus told him to write to the pastors of the churches, because it has always been the sin in the House of God that determines God's judgments on this earth.  Human beings always follow a pattern of religious revival, followed by the next generation growing lukewarm, followed by the next generation turning from God entirely.

Christians just find it easier to point the finger at the sinner instead of considering that God's wrath might be coming because His church is asleep, or even worse, in rampant sin.

Several scriptures come to mind:
  • Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound.
  • Lord, if there is just one righteous person there, then will you destroy the city?
:decision:
"So then, stand firm and hold to the traditions :o which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter" (2 Thessalonians 2:15).

One more verse and then Christmas shopping-

1 Peter 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Q:  I have no argument with that at all.  However, the subject of this thread has nothing to do with God's judgement on His people, during the 70th Week/7 year tribulation preceding Jesus Second Advent to the earth.

In addition to that, San Francisco is by no stretch of the imagination the only place in this country where the gay community live.

What I am saying, God controls everything that happens here on the earth and in my opinion, has never ceased adjudicating or blessing when and as He so desires to do so.  The Bema judgement of Christ and the great white throne judgements will indeed take place when those prophecies are fulfilled in the last days.

Forgiveness is available until we get to eternity and then our eternal fate is sealed. Right now, people are free to sin and repent; but there is no forgiveness of sin for the damned in hell.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
