The resurrections
« on: January 31, 2009, 12:41:08 AM »
There are two general resurrections documented in the Scriptures, in Rev.20:4-6. Who are those that you believe will participate in them both?

Please keep in mind, any and all references in the Scriptures as to individual cases of either being raised from the dead or of being translated, is not the issue. But rather, the two general resurrections only.

1. First of all, this may come as a suprise to some, but the Church does not participate in either of the two resurrections of Rev.20:4-6. We will all be raised from the dead until Jesus returns for the rest of us left here on the earth alive, at His appearing. Those of us will be translated instead, at that time.

2. Go to: http://www.theologyreview.com/forums/showthread.php?p=43444#post43444 for the Scriptural disposition of the Church [All of us who belong to Christ], who will be "Caught Up" [Raptured, in 1 Thes.4:17] to meet the Lord in the clouds of the sky. Where, as He promised, to take us to be with our Father in heaven from there, in Jn.14:2-4 and 28. As dramatically different from the conditions recorded in Mt.24:30-31, second coming of Christ. Which takes the Church out of either of the two resurrections.

3. After the Church is raptured, the "man of lawlessness, 2 Thes.2:3-4 and 8, [The antichrist] is revealed, who is the very same person as the king who "speaks against the Most High" of Dan.7:23-27, the "stern faced king" of Dan.8:23-26, and all three of the "he's" of Dan9.27. The rider of the white horse in Rev.6:2, the beast out of the sea in Rev.11:7; 13:1-8; 17:8, 11, 16 and 19:19-20. All of them, the very same person, the one world ruler who will trigger the 70th and final week/seven year tribulation, yet to come.

4. All of the non-believers left immediately following the rapture of the Church must go through the sev year tribulation. In Rev.7:1-8, God places 144,000 converted Israelite evangelists on the earth from heaven [In the same way He will place His two witnesses in Rev.11:3-6], to preach the Gospel to those who remain on the earth, to take the place of the raptured Church. The result of their efforts is the Great Multitude of Rev.7:9-17, who become the Tribulation Saints, the parenthetic of the Chronological Multitude who participate in the first resurrection, in Rev.20:4 and 6. Who are all the tribulation saints and has nothing to do with the raptured Church.

5. Satan is caught, chained and thrown and locked up in the Abyss for the same 1,000 years Christ reigns here on the earth, in Rev.20:1-3.

Please Note:

Before the exclusive resurrection of the tribulation saints, the 144,000 Israelite evangelists brought to the Lord in Rev.7:9-17, the Church is seen returning with Jesus in Rev.19:14, from the wedding in verses 7-9, riding on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, in His armies from heaven - before the first resurrection takes place.

6. The resurrected tribulation saints of Rev.20:4-6 [Bodily, in the very same way Jesus was resurrected], will become priests of God and of Christ, as revealed in Rev.20:6, and reign with Him for 1,000 years here on earth, beginning with all the survivors of the tribulation, which will be approximately 2.3 billion people, a third of the original 7 billion at the beginning of the tribulation. The population will increase as it has from the beginning of human history and there will be many more saved by the resurrected tribulation saints, who will then all be priests of God and of Christ, as found in Rev.20:4 and 6.

7. When Jesus 1,000 year reign on earth is over, Satan is released from the Abyss and goes out to deceive the people and nations again, in Rev.20:7-10. His new army from the growth of the tribulation survivors will be as numerous as the sands of the sea, that he will bring up against God's people in Jerusalem. God will destroy his army with fire from heaven and throw Satan into the lake of fire, where he will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

8. the second resurrection will then take place, 1,000 years after the first one, according to Rev.20:5. The Great White Throne judgement will take place and all those whoe names are not written in the book of life, will be thrown into the lake of fire. There will be many who will be saved through the efforts of the tribulation saints, who became priests of God and Christ 1,000 years before, who's names will be written in the book of life.

Religious Lie: "God only paid for sins until the next time you sin."
Forgiveness is available until we get to eternity and then our eternal fate is sealed. Right now, people are free to sin and repent; but there is no forgiveness of sin for the damned in hell.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
