« on: November 15, 2012, 01:53:17 PM »
How would you describe yourself? Here's a description of my denominational tendencies:

"Calvinistic Roman Catholic Pentecostal"

That's not even possible, is it? Is it an oxymoron with mostly moron? Say it ain't so!!! LOL :o

Good point. In heaven, there won't be any denominational divisions e.g. there is only one Church in heaven -- and that is the Church of the redeemed. LOL  :D

Yep I lost my religion years ago and I’m doing so much better now. I’m not exaggerating to make a point. I really mean it. GRACE & PEACE.

Am still a proclaimer...  my denomination is Seventh-day Adventist.

Am not protesting anything, just proclaiming

Quote
He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water."

A second angel followed and said, "'Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,' which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries."

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.

It's all about Jesus. The simplicity of the Gospel is amazing, yet most miss it i.e. "straight is the gate and narrow is the way and few there be that find it."  :(

If the Gospel is so simple, then how can most people miss it?

I make no claim to any denomination although since my salvation I have always been on a Baptist membership role. I seek to weed out denominational teachings for biblical truth.
Isaiah 48:18,Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
