It's been said that much of the church is like cement, all mixed up and hardened by traditions.

It takes a relationship with Jesus to enter His kingdom.  :)

BTW, when you say "the church," exactly what do you mean?
a) the Body of Christ
b) those who go to church
c) church memberships

The Body of Christ is most likely to go to church. Therefore, you are most likely to find the Body of Christ in church, although it's not a 100% guarantee.
"So then, stand firm and hold to the traditions :o which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter" (2 Thessalonians 2:15).

Some would rather we remain babes, but God would have us to be no more children

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

It's time to grow up into Him in all things!

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

The church, the Body of Christ, is not a building or a religious organization.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Ephesians 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
"...to make all men see"(Ephesians 3:9)

We don't change God's message -- His message changes us.

I do know this...Mankind prefer the watered down Gospel..They want the emotional..for the moment feel good..Then after that passes ..what next.....Man is depraved today...Believing another Gospel..They do not want Christs Provision Alone..The want Faith Plus works...They want to be in charge of what the Believe he requires today(Its all about I will, I will, I will..They want to perform, they want to feel they have earned their position..They will not Trust Christ Alone..It is a sad sad day..

Forgiveness is available until we get to eternity and then our eternal fate is sealed. Right now, people are free to sin and repent; but there is no forgiveness of sin for the damned in hell.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
