✞ Salvation:
« on: May 02, 2013, 03:47:02 PM »

✞ Salvation: God had every right to leave man in his depraved and helpless condition, but, by His own gracious and loving kindness, He chose to intercede on behalf of fallen man. Salvation is only possible through faith alone in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection four one’s salvation because of God’s grace alone. One must totally reject that any works of righteousness contribute in any way to man’s salvation. When a person places their faith in Christ and his finished work for our salvation they are at that very instant declared righteous through the imputation of Christ’s righteousness as a gift from God.

Any work of righteousness as a contribution, even in a small way, makes the traction between God and man null and void and the man remains lost. It is not by any works of righteousness that we are saved but because of God’s mercy we are saved. Roman 11:6

 Roman 11:6
” And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”

The bible teaches no act of obedience, preceding or following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, such as commitment to obey, sorrow for sin, turning from one's sin, baptism or submission to the Lordship of Christ, may be added to, or considered part of FAITH as a condition for receiving everlasting life (Salvation.) (Rom 4:5; Gal 2:16; Titus 3:5). This saving transaction between God and the sinner is simply the giving and receiving of a free gift (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom 6:23).

More of your false teachings. You can believe that until the cows come home and still not be saved. Believing facts is not faith nor does it constitute repentance.
Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
No repentance no salvation. False prophets claim we do not need to repent.
Isaiah 48:18,Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Salvation is so simple, yet most miss it and enter into eternity without Jesus. It is foolishness to them that perish.  :(
"So then, stand firm and hold to the traditions :o which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter" (2 Thessalonians 2:15).

Don’t depend upon your clergyman, my dear friend, to interpret the Scriptures for you. See for yourself what God says in His Word. For “every one of us shall give an account of himself to God”, says Romans 14:12

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
