✞ Death: Is it the End of the Road for Man?

Richard Dawkins, the famous atheistic, English scientist, said when a person dies, their brain rots and that is the end of their existence. Like animals, we just cease to exist, he believed.

The reason why the subject of death has people so worried is because "deep down inside" they know they will live on and there is consequences for sinful man.

Is there hope for fallen man after death? Let see what the Scriptures say about those who die.

 1 Thessalonians 4:14
For "if" we *believe* that *Jesus died and rose again*, even so them also which sleep[Died] in Jesus will God bring with him [to heaven]. [Emphasis added for clarity]

There is a way out of the grip of death...if you will believe that Jesus died to pay the penalty for your sin and rose from the tomb to save you....He will!
And of course “to believe” is to have the conviction that something is true that we rely-on or trust-in.
"...to make all men see"(Ephesians 3:9)

We don't change God's message -- His message changes us.

You summed it up quite nicely. It's hard to add anything to that.  8)
"So then, stand firm and hold to the traditions :o which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter" (2 Thessalonians 2:15).

1. There IS NO HOPE for those who die without Christ, period!  Nor is there a second chance for those who do, according to Jn.3:18, because they are condemned already.

2. You are misinterpreting 1 Thess.4:14, as I pointed out in one of your other threads.  You need to begin the passage in vs 13, which through vs 18 is the rapture of the Church passage.  Paul is assuring the Thessalonians in vs 13, those who have died in Christ will not miss the rapture of the Church he was teaching them about.  Then told them why, in vs 14.  That they will return with Jesus FROM HEAVEN when He returns for the rest of us still alive, here on the earth.

As Paul wrote in 2 Cor.5:8, "...absent from the body, present with the Lord..," confirming Ecc.12:7; Rev.6:9-11 and 7:9-17.

3. Well and good IF YOU DO SO BEFORE YOU DIE!

4. That is understood if you are to become a member of the one body of Christ.

Eternity with God or eternity without God begins at death.
"So then, stand firm and hold to the traditions :o which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter" (2 Thessalonians 2:15).

Forgiveness is available until we get to eternity and then our eternal fate is sealed. Right now, people are free to sin and repent; but there is no forgiveness of sin for the damned in hell.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
