Problems with the climate change argument-

1.  If you believe in old earth, you are talking less than 100 years of reliable data for over 4 billion years.  That sample of data is not nearly enough for an analysis of what or why something is happening.
2.  If you believe in young earth, you believe the earth is 6-10,000 years old, and the same problem applies.
3.  Considering the above, are we simply witnessing a normal climate variable in the planet?

I'm all for controlling carbon emissions and such because I like clean air to breath, but let us actually use science to tell us what is going on, not start with a hypothesis (and a poor one at that) and then try to prove it through small data "proofs" conducted by people with financial incentive to prove this bad theory.

First one needs to trust the data and the computer modeling. Scientists are rarely any more objective than anyone else no matter what they claim. Most of them will interpret the data in a way that fits their beliefs. We also know now that some scientists have lied and even manipulated data in order to keep their funding.

I have a theory that all this crazy weather is this old earth groaning under the curse of sin.

Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Jer 23:10  For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.

I also can't help but wonder if the devil has anything to do this. We do not know for sure what kind of limits God puts on him. But we do know that can appear as angel of light and we also know that he can work false miracles. He is also referred to as the prince of the air (or this earth). Is it possible that the devil has his hand in this to cause misery and death so that people will turn around and blame God?

We also need to remember that this earth is under a curse. Just like everything else when things get old they don't work like they should and sometimes break.

Gen 3:17  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Gen 3:18  Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Gen 3:19  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

True. The youtube is a reflection of the data that was input into it. However, if the data is correct, then it's pretty bad.

Maybe... maybe not. Facts are facts. Data is data. It's how you choose to interpret the data. Remember there once was a time when we believed the sun revolved around the earth and men were persecuted for stating otherwise. While we may have more knowledge and have a better understanding of how the universe works the nature of men's hearts have not changed. Woe be to you if you disagree with their cherished ideas and opinions.

The reason I always believed in global warming is because the bible says that in the last days, men will be "scorched" from the heat of the sun (Rev. 16:9). I just assumed that before it gets that bad, the temperature will begin heating up gradually (like over a hundred years or so and not overnight). I just assumed that global warming is a precursor to being scorched.

Which is the fourth of the final seven bowl judgments in Rev.16:8-9, near the end of the seven year tribulation.  When the Church will all be in heaven and completely unaffected by it.  The present day global warming will not come close to the effect that is going to have!

But do you acknowledge that the heating trend could be heading towards a fulfillment of Rev. 16:8-9?

That is a part of God's judgment on the world. I see that as peculiar supernatural event that no one will be able write off through science. They will know it's the hand of God and won't be able to blame it on carbon based fuel or too many cows.

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
