Anyone Still Around

Maybe I should rename this thread "Social Media Killed the Forums"  :D

Seriously though...does anyone still come here?   I log in a few times a week to check on things but otherwise, all I hear is crickets.

Hi John. No, I really don't come anymore. For me, it got to point of realizing that nobody changes their mind via chat forums, so it ends up seeming like an "eternal arguing loop." Everyone's minds are already made up, whether it be about doctrinal issues or political issues or whatever else. Conversely, I'm pursuing a graduate degree in theology and should graduate in the Fall of 2020, if there are no unexpected surprises.

Hey Ed!   Good to hear from you!

I'm doing a nursing degree at the moment, and I agree with you.   My favorite Facebook quote- "The number of people ever convinced to change their mind via a social media post will forever remain at zero"

Nursing is good. After you do that and after you get a little bit of employment experience, you can go for a MSN which will automatically get you a lot more money!

JUST A THINK ABOUT IT: Will you embrace the full meaning of Christmas? Jesus didn't die just so you could go to heaven. He came to give you life - His life; an abundant life free from guilt, condemnation, and slavery to both sins and religion. He came to bring a grace revolution to the world and tha
