Almost every group of people rested on the Seventh day of the week, Nepal returned to that is the national day of rest based on the old Hindu Calendar, The Inuit (Eskimos ) were recorded as keeping the same day of rest as the Jews,

Many Native American tribes' languages call the Seventh-day 'Rest and Refresh' day. In over 100 languages the word for the seventh day of the week is rest or Sabbath.

Those "scholars " who say it was a Jewish event are not real scholars at all.
